This is a 14 session pre-college enrichment program that helps high school students understand what life is like in medical school and in health professions. The program exposes high school students to activities related to medicine and teaches students about specific medical career fields and the steps needed to become a physician or any other health care provider. The curriculum includes trips to the anatomy lab (where students will be able to observe real cadavers), lectures from medical school professors, clinical skills demonstrations, mentoring, and problem based learning workshops. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors may apply.
